This What's New page used to be relevant, filling in visitors on the details of website changes, as well as any other notable personal info I had the time to share. Now, with all sorts of modern ways to share more information than anyone cares to know, I've lost my motivation to update this site. So I'll just leave up this old info as if it was nostalgic. Keep in mind that many of the links shown below may now be broken!

| It's now three months into my quadricep tendinits rehab and things are not going well... | |
| 01.01.07 | |
| Well, my push to run the P.F. Chang's Rock 'n' Roll Arizona Marathon is over, unfortunately. Quadricep tendinits has returned to both legs and is worse than ever. It looks like I'll spend all of 2007 in rehab, likely not playing volleyball or riding my mountain bike until 2008! | |

| Okay, what's the significance of the Rock 'n' Roll marathon date? Well, it was supposed to be the culmination of all the running I was aiming to do this fall. With the quadriceps tendonitis I developed in both legs, I was forced to put away the mountain bike for a while. It was my hope that I could revert to running in order to stay active and in shape. Unfortunately, I realized at about the 10-mile point that running was affecting the tendonitis far more than I had hoped. Now it's time to rehab the tendonitis. Once that has been accomplished, I'll evaluate the situation and decide whether to pick up running again (in addition to biking). | |

| The date of the P.F. Chang's Rock 'n' Roll Arizona Marathon & ½ Marathon is January 14, 2007! I'll explian the significance of this soon... | |

| In other news, I surpassed 40,000 miles on my motorcycle tonight. Over three years, 40,000 miles, and zero problems. Must not be American made. Yep, it's a Honda! I made sure to reset one of the trip meters on the instrument panel, so I'll have a photo to post when the main odometer hits 44,444 miles with 444.4 miles on the trip meter. Yeah, I'm weird. I'll find any excuse to snap a strange photo. | |

| Well, it's time to sell my Civic. I hadn't planned on it... but plans change! Andrea just accepted a subcontract job in the very same Honeywell building I'm working in. Meanwhile, we've also been drooling over the new Toyota Prius hybrid. How do all these items relate to one another? I'll be selling my Civic to help pay for a brand new Prius! Hopefully it won't be long before we're carpooling to work in a brand new, fuel-efficient Prius! For those interested in buying my Civic, here is the link: 2001 Honda Civic EX | |

| Two more electric vehicle charging stations off the list... this time Chandler Fashion Center and Superstition Springs Mall. Unfortunately, I have this feeling it will only stop when the last charging station is gone. | |

| If you came here looking for tickets to the upcoming Arizona Cardinals season at the new stadium... they're gone! That's right, all the games I'm not keeping have been taken. The stadium is quickly taking shape! They just tested the moving "field tray," and all indications are that it worked beautifully! On the other hand, we're only two months away from the first Preseason home game, and the parking situation has yet to be addressed. Andrea and I just attended the second Madonna concert at Glendale Arena with our friend Debbie. With all the Westgate construction going on around the arena and stadium, traffic flow in and out of the parking lots was terrible! Even with the much smaller capacity of the arena and no need to stop and pay for parking, it was a complete traffic jam outside the arena. I can only imagine how bad it's going to be for the Cardinals games if they don't make some improvements in the next two months! Saturday, August 12th, the Super Bowl champion Pittsburg Steelers come to town to play the first ever game in the new stadium. No more Jerome Bettis, but fans will at least get to see MVP quarterback Ben Roethlisberger. Well, assuming he has recovered from his motorcycle wreck and is at least close to being ready to play football again. Time will tell. | |

| I was due to add some new content to my site... so I did. I finally added some details on the sportbike and car I've owned for years now. You can now see details on my F4i and my Civic. I also did some housekeeping, re-formatting some pages and shuffling some things around. But you're not interested in that stuff, right? | |

| Electric vehicle charging stations are dropping like flies! I just removed several more from my list of stations. The remaining local charging stations can be seen on this list. | |

| A photo page was added to show some of the highlights of the Memorial Day vacation Andrea and I took to Colorado. Click here to be taken to the pictures. | |

| Okay, the website is getting a minor overhaul. I've added some new pages, updated lots of information, and replaced some of the graphics. I've added a list of all the concerts I've attended, as well as several other items. Take a look around and tell me what you think! If you see a construction sign or two, fear not. I have lots more work planned for the near future. | |
| 04.09.06 | |
| Well, it has been a really long time since I've updated any of the stuff on my site. I've been devoting most
of my time to other websites... and neglecting my own! But that's all going to change. For those of you who visit my site, I'm aiming to keep
the site current with pictures and other information on what's new. Your first step can be to the What's New link at the top. I'll update
that page any time I load new pictures or info.
Meanwhile, you can sit back and enjoy the random picture shown to the right (on the main page). Yes, even I got tired of seeing the same two pictures on my webpage. So from time to time, I'll add a few pictures to the random picture code just to spice things up. Enjoy! So, what truly is "new?" I'm recovering from some knee troubles and getting back into volleyball (and hopefully back into mountain biking soon, too). Unfortunately, it looks as though I'll be retiring from indoor volleyball, however. My knees have been really bothering me on the court. From now on, I may be limited to playing only sand volleyball. Meanwhile, Andrea is building back up her strength and range of motion from a knee surgery she underwent earlier in the year. She's now back in the rock climbing gym, and has recently taken up cycling (again). The two of us have plans to attend several concerts this spring and summer, as you can see by visiting the Personal link to the left. We also have a family vacation to Lake Powell coming up this summer! We'll spend the better part of a week cruising the lake on two huge house boats! | |

| Andrea and I just returned today from California. We spent a little over 2 days in the Burbank and Ventura areas visiting family from both of our families. It was nice to get away for a bit, meet some good people, and even test out my new car! Okay, so it's not new. But it's "new to me." Since buying my 2001 Honda Civic EX exactly a month ago, I had yet to take it on any significant trips. Given its duty as a dedicated "mountain bike hauler," it doesn't see much use. But the extended drive to California meant we could save a bit of money on gas, versus taking Andrea's XTerra. The car handled flawlessly, even in the constant rain we saw. Los Angeles saw 4" of rain on Tuesday, which doesn't include the rain we saw today and Monday as well! The rain did not spoil our trip, however, and we look forward to returning soon to see the family again. | |

| As of late October, Busey is now 16 months old and just as psycho as she was at 4 months old. Meanwhile, I have over 21,000 miles on the F4i. But that's not the biggest story. The biggest story was the fact that my roommate and I were falsely arrested on October 8th... the day before my birthday! Making matters worse, we weren't released for 12 hours, which means I spent the first 6.5 hours of my birthday in jail! But justice was served! The charges against us were dropped in November. For the full story, visit the "Writings" section to the left. | |
